Chocolate & Nut Granola

I make a batch of this every Sunday for the week ahead:


  • 3 cups of oats
  • 1 cup of pumpkin and sunflower seeds 
  • A handful of your fav nut, eg, pecan/walnut/almond
  • 2 tbsp of coconut oil 
  • chopped dates
  • 1 tsp of cinnamon
  • 1 tsp of cocoa
  • 2 tbsp of maple syrup


Put the oven on low, 120 c
Melt the coconut oil and add to the bowl of dry ingredients. Then add the cinnamon and maple syrup and mix well.
Spread the mix out on a large roasting sheet. The less crowded it is for the mix the crunchier it will be.
Cook in the oven for 20-30 minutes, keep an eye on it so it doesn’t catch.
Leave to cool then place in an airtight container for 1 week.
